When are my next 14 hours of Continuing Ed. Due?

Your compliance date is determined by your birth month. You should always verify your compliance date with the Florida Department of Financial Services. You can call (850) 413-3134 extension 1108 to check on your continuing education credits. You will be fined $250.00 by the Florida Department of Financial Services if you do not meet the continuing education requirements. Your compliance date is determinded by the issue date of your license and your birth month.

Rule 4-228.220 Licensee Compliance; Requirements; Penalties for Non-Compliance.
(1)(a) A licensee shall be required to meet continuing education requirements by the end of the licensee’s birth month after being licensed 24 months, and every two years thereafter.
Florida Statute 648.385 Continuing Education required;
(2)(a) Each person subject to the provisions of this chapter must complete a minumum of 14 hours of continuing education courses every 2 years in courses approved by the department. Compliance with continuing education requirements is a condition precedent to the issuance, continuation, or renewal of any appointment subject to the provisions of this chapter
